Yoga at lunch? After work? A mindfulness workshop? Are you considering offering yoga as a wellness benefit for your employees? According to experts, for every $1 spent on a wellness program, a business saves $3 in reduced claims. Some health insurance plans offer discounts to employers who offer wellness programs to their employees. Beyond the hard dollar savings, your company benefits with employees who are less stressed and more alert...happier employees with more energy for creative thinking and more patience for meaningful collaborative efforts.
Peaceful Presence Yoga brings yoga to the corporate setting to meet the needs of individual employers, customizing each session to your unique situation. Yoga can be practiced anywhere that offers some open floor space: a meeting room with furniture pushed to the walls, an empty room in your office building, or any open area you can create for a group practice. With the yoga blocks, straps, and music supplied, your employees simply bring their own mats and a willing spirit to their weekly practice. Classes can be designed to meet any need, from a gentle, lunch-time class for employees in work clothes (no sweating) to a more rigorous practice to build strength and stamina while stretching the body and calming the mind.
Sessions are typically offered on a multi-week, renewable basis and can be structured around your needs. A practice is 45 - 60 minutes at lunch or at the end of your work day. Regardless of the number of employees participating, the corporate class rate is priced per practice, with a minimum eight-week session to start. Custom plans are available to meet your needs. In some companies, the employees pay their own way in a “Club Yoga” format, while in others, yoga is part of the corporate wellness benefit.
